Meet Your Doc!
Hi! I’m Dr. Lauren Lybbert, founder and chiropractor here at Haven. I am so excited you’re here!
I’m a Quad Cities native and passionate about everything pregnancy, pediatrics, and family chiropractic. I graduated from Palmer College and was trained in various techniques including Palmer Package, Activator, and Sacro-Occipital. I am also trained in Webster Technique through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA). Currently, I am focused on completing both the perinatal and pediatric certification programs through the ICPA to better serve moms and babies!
My journey to chiropractic is somewhat unique. I was fortunate to have the opportunity to play basketball in college which led me to the United States Military Academy at West Point for my undergraduate education. I also played rugby while at West Point and was lucky enough to continue my career at Palmer as club president, player, and coach. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and was commissioned as a second lieutenant in the United States Army upon graduation. I served as a logistics officer for 8 years in various locations across the globe. I then spent a year working with FEMA prior to starting chiropractic school.
Service is foundational to who I am, and I have always been fascinated by the human body, especially anything and everything to do with birth. These traits are what eventually led me to chiropractic school. I am thrilled to be able to serve and give back to the community that raised me by helping people achieve better health and wellness!
In my spare time you can find me hanging out with my wife, Kayla, and our son, Graham! We love being outdoors, checking out new places to eat, spending time with our niece and nephew, traveling, and getting involved in local activities!
